Goals

The goal of the Annual Meeting is to: (a) improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders affecting the colon and rectum; and (b) improve the quality of patient care by maintaining, developing and enhancing the knowledge, skills, professional performance and multidisciplinary relationships necessary to provide services for patients, the public and the profession.

Target Audience

The program is intended for the education of colon and rectal surgeons as well as general surgeons and others involved in the treatment of diseases affecting the colon and rectum.

Accreditation

The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  ASCRS takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.
